A place at the table
Hospitality can be the most memorable part of a journey. Take time to enjoy local food, ask questions, and listen to the stories your hosts choose to share.
A thoughtful visit
Respect the rhythms of daily life. Visits and meals should be arranged with the consent of hosts, with clear expectations and fair compensation.
Go beyond sightseeing
Our team can help you connect with locally hosted experiences suited to your interests, while keeping care for the community at the centre.
A welcome is a relationship
Approach a locally hosted experience as time with people rather than a performance. Ask your guide how the visit has been arranged and what the host is comfortable sharing. A meal, a conversation or a short introduction to a craft can be meaningful without staging photographs or expecting access to every part of a home.
Make practical needs clear early
Share dietary requirements, mobility needs and the ages of children before arrangements are confirmed. Ask whether the proposed setting has appropriate seating, bathroom access and meal options. A host can prepare more confidently when the request is specific, while your coordinator can suggest another setting if the original one does not fit.
Photography and privacy
Ask before taking portraits and accept a refusal without pressure. Permission to take a picture does not automatically mean permission to publish it, especially when children or private spaces are involved. Put the camera away for part of the visit so conversation and shared attention can become the experience rather than its documentation.
Choose partnerships with care
Use confirmed guide and accommodation profiles to understand who may be involved in your journey. Ask about language, experience and the services included, then confirm availability for your dates. Do not assume that every person pictured online is your assigned host. A clear introduction and fair agreement help both visitor and provider know what to expect.
